It is through your generosity that we are better equipped to serve and create an opportunity of hope and encouragement for every adult learner. Your generous support and contributions will enable us to continually meet the needs of adult learners throughout the local community.

Our mission combined with your generosity creates a unique relationship that serves as a vivid reminder, in the community, where adult learners realize that society has not forgotten nor abandoned them. Birmingham Jumpstart seek to bridge these academic gaps and literacy loopholes in the community each week through our free academic and literacy skills class sessions.

When you make a contribution to our program it then becomes one of the tools we utilize to give hope to an adult learner who will know that he/she is not facing the daunting challenges of adult illiteracy alone. This is evidenced by the fact that because of your contribution they, in turn, receive all of their learning for free. This includes learning curriculum, including TABE and practice GED exams, classroom supplies, and additional study materials all at no cost to them. Your contribution has such a profound and lasting impact on our adult students and their continued success.
